A Valts (The Waltz) Screening

“A Valts” (“The Waltz”) will be screened at The Americas Film Festival of New York on Monday, June 19 at 6:30 pm. This animated short, directed by Vlock Fellow Yulia Ruditskaya, brings to life a Yiddish poem, “A Valts” (“The Waltz”) by A. Lutzky. Written in the interwar period, the poem was also sung to children in the Lodz ghetto. It was also recounted in a testimony at the Fortunoff Video Archive.
