Fellowships
The Fortunoff Archive actively encourages supports scholarship with the collection through its fellowship program. The archive offers several fellowships including a two-year fellowship for a postdoctoral scholar, as well as fellowships for doctoral candidates and senior scholars. Learn More

Episode 7 features Stepan-blondin. This song is based on a poem drawn from the testimony of Liubov’ K. (HVT-3280). This is a ballad telling the story of the inmates escaping the labor camp to the village (possibly to get food) and their cruel guard Stepan. Fortunoff fellow Nora Krug joined artists at Kunsthaus Wiesbaden for workshop on memory and comics
The workshop took place the day before the opening of a new exhibition “Ich werde nicht schweigen (I will not remain silent).” The exhibition will tour across Germany starting in November.
Nora Krug participated in the workshop with with three other artists, Hannah Brinkmann, Tobias Dahmen, and Birgit Weyhe. All four artists have work featured in the exhibition. The workshop keynote was held by Ole Frahm, a leading expert on the Holocaust and its representation in art.
